The Artist Behind the Interiors
One creative mind. A whole lot of different outlets.
The Little Artist → The Seamstress → The Tattoo Artist → The Fashion Founder → The Interior Designer.
My creative journey started long before I ever imagined becoming an interior designer. Creativity has always been a part of who I am, shaped by my parents and the different ways they introduced me to art.
I learned how to hand-sew from my mom when I was just 4 years old. And by hand-sew, I mean I was using her sheets and socks to make clothes for my Barbie dolls. Looking back, my interest in fashion and design started much earlier than I realized!
My love for art came from my dad. He would have my siblings and me sit still while he drew portraits of us, and somewhere along the way, I picked up a pencil and never really put it down. I've been creating art for as long as I can remember, exploring everything from portraits to abstract paintings.
From Canvas to Clothing
In 2012, I began creating and selling memorial portrait paintings. Art became more than a way to express myself; it became a way to create meaningful pieces for others and turn my creativity into something people could connect with.
My passion for sewing grew alongside my love for painting. In 2014, my mom bought me my first sewing machine, opening the door to a whole new world of possibilities. What started with handmade outfits for my Barbie dolls grew into creating actual garments, including prom dresses, clothing, and swimsuits. I loved the process of taking an idea and bringing it to life through fabric, color, and construction.
In 2019, I expanded my creative journey into tattooing, discovering another way to use art to create something personal and meaningful. Then, in 2020 and 2021, I took my passion for fashion a step further by owning my own clothing and swimsuit brand. From painting and garment construction to tattooing and entrepreneurship, each experience gave me another way to explore my creativity.
Although these creative outlets looked different, they all had something in common: the freedom to imagine something and make it real.
And Then Came Interior Design...
Interior design feels like the perfect place for all these parts of me to meet.
Painting taught me to see color, balance, and composition. Sewing taught me to appreciate fabrics, textures, patterns, and the details that make something special. Tattooing strengthened my appreciation for artistry and personal expression, while running my own brand taught me how to develop a creative vision and bring it to life.
Interior design allows me to use all of my talents together without having to choose just one.
I get to approach a room like a canvas, layer fabrics like I'm designing an outfit, experiment with color like I'm creating a painting, and incorporate the details that make a space feel unique. Instead of separating my interests, I can bring them together to create something that feels cohesive and intentional.
For me, that's what makes interior design so exciting. It's not just another creative outlet; it's where all my previous experiences and passions can work together.
My Kind of Design
I'm drawn to spaces that have personality, tell a story, and make you feel something. I believe a room should be more than visually appealing. It should reflect the people who live in it, their individuality, and the way they want to experience their surroundings.
I love incorporating color, texture, textiles, and unexpected details to create interiors that feel expressive, thoughtfully curated, and personal. I'm not interested in creating spaces that simply look good in a photograph. I want to create spaces that feel good to live in, too.
My approach to design is rooted in the belief that creativity doesn't have to fit into one category. Art, fashion, and interiors can all influence one another, and sometimes the most interesting ideas come from bringing different disciplines together.
From making Barbie clothes out of my mom's sheets and socks to selling paintings, creating garments, tattooing, building a fashion brand, and now designing interiors, my journey has always been about turning imagination into something tangible.
I've been creating my whole life. Now, I get to create spaces you can live in.
Welcome to my world, where art, fashion, and interiors come together. Every experience has contributed to the way I see design today, and I'm excited to continue exploring all the ways creativity can transform a space.
